Valery Slauk is a famous Belarusian illustration artist. He was born in 1947 in Vitebsk region. Valery graduated from Belarusian State Theater and Art Institute.

Etching and ink drawing is the main techniques artist work with. Belarusian folklore and Slavic mythology are the primary themes in his art.

Valery Slauk is a member of the Belarusian Union of Artists and teaches graphics at the Belarusian State Academy of Arts.
