Pavel Tatarnikov (Pavel Tatarnikov) is a Belarusian artist and illustrator. He was born in 1971 in Brest, Belarus.
He is a two-time recipient of the Golden Apple award at the International Biennial of Illustration BIB’01 in Bratislava. At the national Art of the Book competitions (2000–2002), publications illustrated by Tatarnikov received three special awards for Best Publication of the Year and five First Degree diplomas.
He actively collaborates with Belarusian, European, Japanese, Taiwanese, and Chinese publishing houses. His work includes illustrated reconstructions of Belarusian cities and castles for the book Where Our Roots Come From, participation in the large-scale project Seven Wonders of Belarus, and extensive practice in easel graphics and lithography.
Education:
In 1995, he graduated from the Belarusian State Academy of Arts.
