Masha Lazarchuk

BELARUSIAN

Masha Lazarchuk is an illustration artist who lives and works in Minsk (Belarus).

Masha explains the following illustrations were made for the graduation project: this year she graduated from the Belarusian State Academy of Arts, faculty of graphic design.
The topic of the diploma is a little inclined to the brand of Belarus, but more about the cultural phenomena of the past and the present. Here and Yazep Drozdovich with Algerd Baharevich, hockey and Colorado beetles. There was an attempt to create new images in addition to the existing “beads, bison and cornflowers” and somehow beat the old ones in the Quiche style. The illustrations provide a reference to the paradise carpets of the Belarusian artist Alena Kish.
